  1. I’m excited to hear this podcast. I have a few friends with this problem. This’ll give me ammo when I make fun of them.

As someone who has played wow since 2005, I will be interested to hear your perspective. I enjoy your other podcasts, and if nothing else, we can laugh together about the silliness that goes with wow.

I would like to state however, that it is possible to play the game without being obsessed. I just don’t watch tv anymore, so my free time is about the same.

Whoot! I have been thinking about this alot, and trying to decide if i’m going to pick it up again. I started playing to have an activity with my husband who played ALOT. In the end and with lots of drama I got sucked into it as a raider and ended up staying while he went to a different guilds and then games. I stopped playing this past May when I knew I’d be working at a camp where I had no time to play…lol… and a REALLY bad connection. Now that I have a more regular schedule, he still plays EVE and again, I began playing EVE to have some things to talk to him about. I am definitely feeling that I would rather do many other things instead. Making christmas presents, taking a class, gardening and fixing up my house come to mind. I think that you hit the nail on the head with how you are approaching this.

um…. I have decided that NL is going to be my guild fix for the week though…lol I love it. THAT is what I loved about wow… the stupid whitty conversation/ stories during raids, and NL doesn’t require 15 hours of grinding a week.
